Our $130 consultation is a professional service designed to give you clarity, confidence, and real insight into the condition of your trees.
A qualified arborist will visit your property to assess the health and structure of your tree and carry out a formal risk and health assessment as required.
We don’t offer free quotes. Instead, we provide a thorough, paid consultation so we can take the time to inspect your tree properly and give you advice that’s based on what’s best for you and the tree and not what’s profitable for us.
You’ll finish the consultation with a clear risk assessment report, practical guidance, and the confidence to make an informed decision moving forward.
Trees don’t need a haircut, they need care. Leaves feed the tree, and deadwood supports wildlife.
Unnecessary pruning can weaken structure, shorten lifespan, and remove valuable habitat. It also wastes money and adds to emissions.
We only prune when there’s a clear benefit—always with the tree’s health, safety, and ecological role in mind.
We offer expert pruning when it serves a clear purpose:
Building Clearance
Maintain clearance from homes or infrastructure without harming the tree.
Storm Remediation
Address storm damage with targeted pruning that helps recovery.
Formative Pruning
Guide young trees early to grow strong and stable with less intervention later.
Every job is assessed carefully. Our goal is to do only what’s needed.
Healthy trees start below the surface. We offer practical treatments to improve soil conditions, support root function, and help your trees thrive.
Mulching
Mulching is the simplest and most effective way to boost tree health and biodiversity. We recommend keeping the mulch produced during your tree work as it saves money and reduces waste.
Fertilising
We use targeted fertilising to give struggling trees a boost or to address nutrient deficiencies. It’s a tool, not a cure-all, and only used when needed.
Soil Decompaction & Airspade
Garden soils are often compacted, limiting root growth and water uptake. In more severe cases we use the Airspade to safely loosen soil without harming roots, restoring the conditions trees need to recover and thrive.
Soil & Tissue Testing
If the cause of poor tree health isn’t obvious, we organise soil and tissue testing to identify underlying issues or pathogens. This ensures our management decisions are guided by accurate data, not guesswork.
Trees are more than just plants—they’re ecosystems. Where it’s safe to do so, we encourage the retention of habitat features to support local biodiversity.
Habitat Stags & Carvings
When a tree needs to be removed or reduced, we can often retain part of the trunk as a habitat stag. We also create carved hollows or nesting sites to provide ongoing ecological value.
Deadwood Retention
Dead branches, hollows, and cavities provide critical habitat for birds, insects, bats, and marsupials. Where there’s no safety risk, we leave deadwood in place to support wildlife and natural processes.
Log Placement & Mulch Habitat
We offer to place logs and mulch in your garden to create shelter, improve soil moisture, and support insects, fungi, and small mammals.
Ecological Tree Management
All of our work considers the broader ecosystem. We prioritise approaches that preserve habitat, reduce disturbance, and work with nature rather than against it.
