Rather than starting with a quote, the focus is on understanding each tree in context. This includes its condition, its surroundings, and the role it plays within the site. Decisions are then based on what is appropriate, not just what is possible.
Advice is provided as a paid consultation, allowing for clear, unbiased recommendations grounded in observation and professional judgement.
In many cases, this leads to more measured outcomes, with trees retained where appropriate, less work carried out and unnecessary intervention avoided. Where work is needed, it is carried out intentionally and with a clear goal in mind.
Experience and Education
Blue Wren Trees is run by Zac Gethin-Damon, a qualified climbing and consulting arborist with over 10 years of experience across residential, commercial, and council work.
Zac holds an AQF Level 8 qualification in Arboriculture and has a background that combines both consulting and hands-on tree work. His experience includes tree risk assessment and on-site consulting across a wide range of situations and tree types.
Recommendations are based on careful observation and professional judgement, with an emphasis on achieving outcomes that are appropriate to the tree and the site. Where possible, this means retaining trees and avoiding unnecessary intervention, while still addressing safety and management requirements.
